AND THEN WE'RE GONNA FIX HEALTHCARE....BYAH!!!

I can't wait for Hillary to get excited about being the Democratic front-runner and give everyone a good old Howard Deanesque BYAAHH!! and lose popularity. Not that I have anything against her or necessarily want her to lose the nomination, but I would just like to see her get all pumped up about something. Really, she doesn't have to lose popularity. Just to see her even mockingly quote Mr. Dean would really be something to laugh about. Think about it.

I get the most delicious case of schadenfreude when observing Hillary. She will say absolutely anything to win popularity, even if it means being hawkish or just downright hypocritical. Her solution to healthcare is going to be a Romney-esque mandate that all her people carry health insurance, but do nothing to fix the massive corporate healthcare-insurance industrial complex.

You're a communist, so you're probably well aware of how poorly a corporate healthcare system works. The United States, which everyone praises as the "best healthcare system in the world", is rubbish at keeping its people healthy. We rank 38th in life expectancy, behind such notable nations as the UK, Germany, Canada, and even fucking Chile. You may personally find it of note that Cuba ranks 37th, and China 82nd.

It's shocking to think about, but we're killing people off earlier because its profitable to treat them TOO MUCH. You should really read a book entitled "Overtreated" by Shannon Brownlee. It really opens your eyes how wasteful our healthcare-insurance complex can be.

I'm well aware of the health care issues our nation is facing. Although I didn't see 'Sicko,' I am also aware that Cuba's program ranks higher than ours. I think the biggest problem our nation faces with regards to life expectancy is not sub-quality health care, but obesity. If fewer Americans were big, fat, McDonald's-eating fucks, this statistic would be a little different.

Instead of focusing on preventing diseases, our system is more concerned with newer, better ways to get people to lose weight without a proper diet and exercise.

I do think that Hill is right that a change has to be made, but she needs to realize that a corporate congress, no matter how many liberals are there, are not in favor of socialist reform. I'll put that book on my 'to do list.'
